Cardano, a leading blockchain platform, has recently launched Girolamo, an AI-powered chatbot that represents a significant advancement in integrating artificial intelligence with blockchain technology. Named after the famous Italian mathematician, Girolamo offers real-time, contextually aware responses and has the unique ability to generate and interpret images.
Beta Testing and User Participation
The project has entered its beta testing phase, inviting users who hold at least 5000 CGI tokens to participate. Interested individuals can join the CardanoGPT Discord server, verify their wallet, and interact directly with Girolamo. However, as Girolamo is still in beta, the accuracy of its responses is not fully guaranteed.
Cardano’s AI Journey: From Grace to Girolamo
Cardano’s venture into AI began with Grace, an AI robot designed for healthcare, developed in collaboration with Awakening Health, Hanson Robotics, and SingularityNET. This project marked the beginning of Cardano’s journey in blending AI technology with practical applications, particularly in healthcare, showcasing the potential of AI in solving complex problems.
Ongoing Developments in the Cardano Ecosystem
The Cardano ecosystem continues to evolve with significant updates and advancements. The Lace wallet has been updated for better dApp interaction, and the Mithril team has made strides in decentralizing networks with the development of the Mithril relay. Additionally, a special Cardano ballot vote is being prepared to assess progress in governance aspects.
