World’s largest Web3 event sold out with 10,000+ attendees from 5,000+ companies, 300+ exhibitors, 250 speakers and 450+ side events participating in the industry’s largest international gathering of the year
SINGAPORE – 21st September 2023:
Asia’s leading crypto event, TOKEN2049, recently concluded its Singapore leg, boasting an impressive 10,000+ global participants. With representatives from over 5,000 companies, 300 exhibitors, and a lineup of 250 eminent speakers, the event marked the largest international gathering in the crypto and Web3 realm for the year.
A highlight of TOKEN2049 was its offering of over 450 side events, workshops, and unique networking moments, reiterating its stature in the global crypto landscape. Remarkably, 80% of these attendees came from beyond Singapore’s borders, representing over 120 nations, accentuating Singapore’s prominence as Asia’s epicenter of fintech.
The event was not just about numbers but was marked by substantive content. Noteworthy collaborations like LayerZero’s alliance with Google Cloud and Circle’s partnership with the Southeast Asian titan, Grab, were some of the significant revelations. Additionally, the rebranding of Huobi to HTX was another highlight of the event.
An after-party named “AFTER 2049”, held at the iconic Marina Bay Sands rooftop, punctuated the event, setting an unparalleled benchmark in luxury and entertainment with international DJs.
Alex Fiskum, the co-founder of TOKEN2049, expressed his delight at the event’s success, “TOKEN2049 Singapore was a marvel. Despite market challenges, the crypto community’s spirit remains undeterred. Building on the Singapore success, TOKEN2049 is poised to debut in Dubai from 18-19 April 2024 at the luxurious Madinat Jumeirah. This Dubai edition is poised to transform the city into a buzzing center of Web3 innovation, drawing in global crypto stalwarts.
The next TOKEN2049 Singapore rendezvous is slotted for 18-19 September next year at Marina Bay Sands, anticipating an even richer experience for attendees.
