Vitalik Buterin, known for co-founding Ethereum, recently experienced a significant financial setback. In just six days, from December 15 to December 21, Buterin’s publicly-known crypto wallets lost about $29 million. This loss represented a 5% decrease in their total value, dropping from $572 million to $543 million.
Who is Vitalik Buterin?
Vitalik Buterin is a Russian-Canadian programmer and writer, best known for his role in creating Ethereum. He first gained attention as a co-founder of Bitcoin Magazine. Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2014 as a solution to Bitcoin’s limitations, launching it in 2015.
