She revealed that SHI aims to function as a decentralized and stable currency, designed specifically for use within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Initially conceptualized by Ryoshi, the goal was to peg SHI coin at $0.01, but the exact method to achieve this peg is still under discussion within the Shiba Inu community. The SHIB development team, including Shytoshi Kusama and lead developer Kaal Dhairya, are conducting thorough tests to ensure the SHI stablecoin’s effectiveness.
Lucie hinted that the stablecoin would only be integrated into Shibarium once its infrastructure is ready, with a focus on stability and utility within decentralized finance (DeFi).
