Educational forecast, not financial advice

Forecasts are projections based on historical patterns and editorial assumptions. Crypto markets are volatile and outcomes can differ significantly from these scenarios.

How we calculate this

Data sources

For our crypto forecasts we combine several data points:

  • Current price & historical data: live market data and daily history from CoinMarketCap.
  • Market sentiment: the Fear & Greed Index from alternative.me as an indicator of market mood.
  • Market size: total crypto market capitalisation, to put any move in context.

How we calculate the minimum, average and maximum prices

For each year our analysis team defines three scenarios – a conservative one (minimum), an expected one (average) and an optimistic one (maximum). We express these scenarios as a percentage change against the previous year.

The starting point is the price on the first trading day of the current year (taken from CoinMarketCap's historical data). We apply the annual scenarios to that starting value cumulatively: each new yearly figure builds on the previous year's value, multiplied by the respective percentage change of the scenario.

Example: starting price $40,000, average scenario for year 1 = +20%, year 2 = +15% → average price year 1 = $48,000, year 2 = $55,200.

What shapes the scenarios

When setting the annual scenarios we take into account, among other things:

  • Macroeconomic trends (interest rate policy, inflation, US dollar strength)
  • Coin-specific factors (halvings, roadmap, adoption, tokenomics)
  • Market cycle phase (accumulation, bull run, correction, bear market)
  • Regulatory developments in the key markets (US, EU, Asia)
  • Institutional adoption (ETFs, treasuries, corporate holdings)

Important note

This forecast is a scenario model, not investment advice. Crypto markets are highly volatile. Black swan events (hacks, regulatory intervention, market crashes) can make reality diverge sharply from any scenario. Never base investment decisions on forecasts alone – diversify, and only invest what you can afford to lose.

How we weight the methods for Cysic

Not every analytical tool suits every crypto asset. This overview shows what we actually lean on for Cysic – and what we deliberately leave out.

MethodWeightWhy
Token unlockshighWith a 16.1 percent float, supply is the governing factor. Every tranche meets a thin free float.
Exchange accesshighThe entire August move traces back to the Upbit listing on 10 August. For this token, access to liquidity moves the price more than any metric.
Sector narrative (ZK and compute)highCYS is priced in lockstep with other ZK and compute tokens. If sector sentiment turns, individual news helps little.
Volume relative to market capmediumDaily turnover above half of market capitalisation signals speculation, not position building – and normalises quickly in our experience.
Support and resistancemediumThe zones around $0.80 and $1.69 are derived from the August move. Above the old level there is simply no trading history.
Network metricsmediumProofs billed and active provers are the most honest demand measure – but the data base is still thin.
Cycle and halving analysisnot applicableCysic has neither a halving nor history across a full market cycle. Cycle comparisons would be pure analogy here.
ETF flowsnot applicableNo regulated fund exists for CYS. Institutional flows are not measurable.

Weighting means: where it says “high”, a deviation changes our annual scenarios. Where it says “medium”, it affects entry and target zones within a scenario, not the scenario itself.

Bullish Factors vs. Bearish Factors

What could drive the price up or down

Bullish Factors

  • Access to the Korean market

On 10 August Upbit opened CYS trading in its BTC and USDT markets. For tokens of this size the Korean market is one of the few reliable sources of liquidity.

  • A working product, not just an announcement

Mainnet has been live since December 2025, including the prover network, in-house hardware acceleration and an EVM-compatible chain. Unlike many tokens in this category, the technology already exists.

  • Volume is carrying the market

At roughly $3.0 million in daily turnover against a $26 million market capitalisation, about one ninth of the market value changes hands each day. For an asset of this size class, CYS remains unusually liquid. (as of October 2026)

Bearish Factors

  • Only 16.1 percent of supply circulates

160.8 million of 1 billion CYS are in circulation. A market cap of about $26 million sits against a fully diluted valuation of roughly $164 million - the supply pressure is still ahead. (as of October 2026)

  • The listing gain has been given back in full

Until 3 August, CYS traded at $0.28. After the high at $1.78 the price now sits at around $0.17, well below its pre-listing level - what looked like a re-rating was a liquidity event lasting eight trading days. (as of October 2026)

  • No reliable support zones

The price jump around the Upbit listing has been sold off in full; in the past month alone CYS lost roughly 40 percent. This token's price history reaches back only a few months - tested support zones where buyers step in reliably have not yet formed. (as of October 2026)

Cysic in October 2026: An exchange listing carried the price

CYS trades at around $0.17, roughly 90 percent below its all-time high of $1.78 reached on 15 August. The trigger was not a product breakthrough but a trading venue: on 10 August, South Korean exchange Upbit opened CYS trading in its BTC and USDT markets. The price had already moved before that – from 4 August, when daily volume jumped from $3.3 million to $81 million and the token closed 89 percent higher in a single day. The gains the listing brought have since been erased: CYS has lost about half its value in the past week alone.

What sits behind the token

Cysic runs a network for zero-knowledge compute: specialised hardware and a set of provers and verifiers generate and check ZK proofs, with mainnet live since December 2025. That gives CYS a working product in a field also worked by Gensyn on decentralised AI training and Polyhedra on the ZK side.

The catch in the valuation

160.8 million of a maximum 1 billion CYS are in circulation – 16.1 percent. A market capitalisation of about $21 million therefore sits against a fully diluted valuation of roughly $130 million. Anyone buying today is paying a valuation that still has most of the supply ahead of it. Our targets deliberately model three scenarios (bearish, base, bullish) rather than a single wished-for number.

The crypto market right now

Total value and sentiment of the market from our own charts. While the page is open, the values refresh at the pace of their source.

What actually moves the Cysic price

Cysic sells compute for cryptographic proofs. Zero-knowledge schemes are computationally expensive; Cysic accelerates them with specialised hardware (FPGAs and ASICs) and spreads the work across a network of provers. The token pays for that compute, is staked to secure the network and – via a non-transferable credit – carries governance rights. The project frames this as ComputeFi: compute capacity becoming a tradable, verifiable asset.

Through 2026 so far, though, the main price driver has not been proof demand but access to trading venues. From the yearly low at $0.125 on 30 January until the end of July, CYS moved sideways to lower – July alone cost around 20 percent. Only the listing speculation from 4 August turned that picture around.

The metrics we watch on Cysic

  • Float and unlocks: 16.1 percent of maximum supply circulates. Every sizeable unlock meets a market that is already paying four times the July price.
  • Volume relative to market cap: daily turnover of around $110 million recently exceeded half of market capitalisation. Readings like that rarely hold for more than a few weeks.
  • Spread across venues: CYS trades on 16 venues with meaningful volume, among them Bithumb, Gate, Bitget, KuCoin and MEXC. A large share of turnover runs through decentralised exchanges.
  • Actual network usage: what matters over the medium term is whether paying customers buy ZK proofs through Cysic – not how many exchanges list the token.

Why Cysic is harder to forecast than established assets

CYS has traded since December 2025. That is a good eight months of price history – too little for the cycle comparisons possible with Bitcoin, and too little to know how the token behaves in a prolonged downturn. On top of that, the recent move rests on a single event. Listing rallies historically tend to fade in the days after trading opens; part of the move had already been given back on 11 August, when the price fell from a high of $1.69 to $1.07.

How this forecast can fail

Three things can override any scenario: an unlock wave that multiplies circulating supply faster than demand grows; a cooling of the ZK and compute narrative that drags the whole sector down; and the plain fact that a price which quadrupled in eight days can travel the same road back. We state these assumptions openly rather than asserting a single target number.

Cysic price prediction for October 2026: what the month can deliver

CYS enters October around $0.171 – after a September that carried the price from $0.625 to $0.161, a decline of 74.3 percent. August’s listing rally has thereby been fully unwound. The monthly low came on September 14 at $0.120; since then the price has held a narrow band. The range the month is most likely to play out in sits between that low and the closing week’s high at $0.200.

What opens the month to the upside: a sustained close above $0.185, the highest close of September’s final week. Above that lies the $0.200 zone from September 24, and then the upper end of our 2026 range at $0.341. Worth noting: at $0.171, CYS currently trades almost exactly at the midpoint of that 2026 range.

What tips it over: a break of the September low at $0.120. Below it there would be room down to the lower end of our 2026 range at $0.085. The September loss should be read as project-specific rather than market-driven: total crypto market capitalisation at the start of October stood roughly 34 percent above its early-July level. The decline tracked the fading of the Upbit effect, not the broad market.

The dates that decide it: the US jobs report on October 2, consumer prices on October 14 and the Fed’s rate decision on October 28 – this time without updated projections. The PCE deflator and the ECB’s rate decision follow on October 29. For CYS, however, with a float of 16.1 percent, the unlock calendar weighs heavier than the macro calendar.

Cysic price prediction 2026 to 2033: the scenarios

Short term (2026): how much of the rally holds?

For the remainder of 2026 a range of roughly $0.086 to $0.34 is realistic. The bearish case materialised in early September 2026: the move largely retraced, as many listing rallies do, falling below the July level.

Medium term (2027–2028): the proof of paying demand

What matters is whether Cysic can show revenue from compute actually billed. ZK proofs are needed wherever rollups and verifiable computation scale – the question is how much of that runs through a token network rather than specialised service providers. In the base case demand grows slowly and is largely absorbed by unlocks; in the bullish case it outpaces the additional supply. Bittensor is worth a look for comparison, where the same question has been open for longer.

Long term (to 2033): the bet on verifiable compute

Long term, CYS is a bet that verifiable compute becomes an asset class of its own. If that thesis holds, today's valuation would look low; if it does not, Cysic competes with a growing number of compute networks for the same narrow paying demand. Our long-term targets therefore assume flattening growth rather than exponential extrapolation.

The biggest risks to the Cysic forecast

First, the 16.1 percent float: coming unlocks multiply supply over years. Second, dependence on a single price driver – if listing volume falls away, the price loses its prop. Third, the short history, which makes any technical analysis unreliable. Fourth, competition from established ZK infrastructure providers. Forecasts are orientation, not a guarantee.
