Gotchi Guardians Goes Browser-Based
Aavegotchi’s popular tower defense-style game Gotchi Guardians has made a major leap forward in accessibility. Players can now jump into the game straight from their web browsers—no downloads or installations required. This new update makes onboarding faster, smoother, and more inviting for both new and returning players.
This marks a strategic move by Pixelcraft Studios to boost adoption and improve the user experience. Whether you're playing from desktop or mobile, launching the game is now just one click away.
Use Your On-Chain Aavegotchis as Playable Skins
In true Aavegotchi fashion, the game stays loyal to its blockchain roots. Players can connect their wallets and select their actual Aavegotchi NFTs to appear as custom skins in-game. This on-chain personalization adds a unique level of engagement, letting users showcase their digital collectibles in a functional and fun environment.
G-Bucks and GHST: In-Game Currency & Purchases
With this new update, Gotchi Guardians introduces G-Bucks as the official in-game currency. Players can purchase G-Bucks using $GHST tokens on the Base network or even use traditional payment methods like debit/credit cards through Xsolla integration. This dual-option approach helps bridge Web2 and Web3 audiences.
These G-Bucks can be used for unlocking power-ups, buying cosmetics, and enhancing gameplay, all while staying within the Aavegotchi ecosystem.
New Spectator Mode for Streamers and Fans
Gotchi Guardians is also rolling out a brand-new Spectator Mode, which allows players and fans to watch live matches. This update opens up opportunities for streamers, esports tournaments, and community engagement—helping build the competitive and social layer of the game.
