Educational forecast, not financial advice

Forecasts are projections based on historical patterns and editorial assumptions. Crypto markets are volatile and outcomes can differ significantly from these scenarios.

How we calculate this

Data sources

For our crypto forecasts we combine several data points:

  • Current price & historical data: live market data and daily history from CoinMarketCap.
  • Market sentiment: the Fear & Greed Index from alternative.me as an indicator of market mood.
  • Market size: total crypto market capitalisation, to put any move in context.

How we calculate the minimum, average and maximum prices

For each year our analysis team defines three scenarios – a conservative one (minimum), an expected one (average) and an optimistic one (maximum). We express these scenarios as a percentage change against the previous year.

The starting point is the price on the first trading day of the current year (taken from CoinMarketCap's historical data). We apply the annual scenarios to that starting value cumulatively: each new yearly figure builds on the previous year's value, multiplied by the respective percentage change of the scenario.

Example: starting price $40,000, average scenario for year 1 = +20%, year 2 = +15% → average price year 1 = $48,000, year 2 = $55,200.

What shapes the scenarios

When setting the annual scenarios we take into account, among other things:

  • Macroeconomic trends (interest rate policy, inflation, US dollar strength)
  • Coin-specific factors (halvings, roadmap, adoption, tokenomics)
  • Market cycle phase (accumulation, bull run, correction, bear market)
  • Regulatory developments in the key markets (US, EU, Asia)
  • Institutional adoption (ETFs, treasuries, corporate holdings)

Important note

This forecast is a scenario model, not investment advice. Crypto markets are highly volatile. Black swan events (hacks, regulatory intervention, market crashes) can make reality diverge sharply from any scenario. Never base investment decisions on forecasts alone – diversify, and only invest what you can afford to lose.

How we weight our methods for Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI)

Not every analytical tool suits every crypto asset. This overview shows what we actually rely on for Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) – and what we deliberately leave out.

MethodWeightWhy
AI sector sentimenthighFET trades mainly as a leveraged play on the crypto-AI narrative. When the sector turns, the token moves disproportionately – in either direction.
Governance and merger progresshighOcean Protocol's exit showed how fragile the Alliance structure is. Progress on the ASI chain and the merger are the most important project-specific signals.
Agent platform usage datamediumReal agent deployments would be the proof of the thesis – so far they are hard to distinguish from outside as test or grant-funded activity.
Support and resistancemediumThe lows from the downturn of autumn 2025 to summer 2026 mark the relevant zones; fresh lows cannot be ruled out.
Macro calendarmediumAI-adjacent tokens react to the same rate and technology impulses as growth stocks.
Fibonacci retracementslowThe price history is broken by the token merger – retracements on old charts carry little signal.
ETF inflows and outflowsnot applicableThere are no widely listed spot products for FET; the daily, measurable institutional demand metric that shapes Bitcoin is absent here.
Cycle and halving analysisnot applicableFET has no halving, and because multiple tokens were merged, there is no continuous cycle history to project forward.

Because FET depends more on AI sentiment than on its own fundamentals, we work with wide ranges and weight news from the Alliance more heavily than any chart signal – at its core, this forecast is a sector bet with a governance caveat.

Bullish Factors vs. Bearish Factors

What could drive the price up or down

Bullish Factors

  • Merger of three AI projects

The Alliance brings together Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol, making it the largest combined presence in decentralised AI.

  • AI remains the strongest narrative thread

Artificial intelligence is one of the explicitly named catalysts for the second half of 2026 and reliably attracts capital.

Bearish Factors

  • Mergers are hard to integrate

Bringing together three organisations with their own technology and culture ties up resources for years. Visible joint products are the acid test.

  • Competition from Bittensor and Render

Within the AI segment, the Alliance is just one of several contenders for the same attention.

  • The old address leads nowhere

ASI Alliance in October 2026: the decentralised AI conglomerate under pressure to deliver

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance's FET token is trading in October 2026 well below the highs of past AI euphoria. The Alliance remains the largest consolidation project in the crypto-AI sector: born from the merger of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol – with Ocean subsequently leaving the Alliance again, exposing its governance tensions – it aims to bundle autonomous agents, an AI services marketplace and decentralised compute infrastructure under a single token. The thesis: artificial intelligence should not belong to a handful of tech giants alone.

The largest AI token ecosystem, but integration risk

The Alliance's strengths: a critical mass of researchers and developers, high-profile figures in the AI scene such as Ben Goertzel and Humayun Sheikh, and a broad product portfolio spanning agent frameworks to decentralised compute. Its weaknesses: Ocean's exit showed how fragile token mergers can be, commercial revenue still lags far behind centralised AI providers, and the overarching narrative of decentralised superintelligence remains scientifically and commercially contested. The risk-reward profile: a highly volatile sector proxy for decentralised AI – with significant upside in any AI rally and significant downside if the narrative erodes.

The crypto market right now

Total value and sentiment of the market from our own charts. While the page is open, the values refresh at the pace of their source.

What actually moves the ASI price

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance brings together three previously independent projects: Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol. That makes it the largest combined presence in decentralised AI – compute agents, a model marketplace and a data economy under one roof.

Artificial intelligence is one of the explicitly named catalysts for the second half of 2026 and reliably attracts capital. Whether the Alliance benefits disproportionately depends on whether three organisations actually become one product.

The metrics we watch on ASI

  • Shared products rather than parallel roadmaps: the acid test for the merger.
  • Usage of the agent infrastructure: are real applications running, or just demonstrations?
  • Completion of the token merger: the migration of legacy holdings affects circulating supply.
  • Sentiment across the AI segment as a whole: it has more influence here than the broader crypto market.

A note on this page's address

The forecast's former Fetch.ai address is no longer reachable. Following the merger, only this page is maintained – anyone who finds an older version should check how current it is.

How this forecast could fail

Mergers tie up resources for years: bringing together three organisations with their own technology and culture costs development time the product doesn't have. If visible joint results fail to materialise while Bittensor and Render deliver, the Alliance loses its distinctive position in the segment.

ASI Alliance price prediction for October 2026: what the month can deliver

ASI Alliance enters October around $0.232 – after a September that carried the price from $0.153 to $0.229, a gain of roughly 49.2 percent. The range the month is most likely to play out in sits between the monthly low of $0.149 and the September high at $0.259.

What opens the month to the upside: a sustained close above the September high of $0.259, set on September 26. Above that, our own 2026 range extends to $0.375.

What tips it over: a break of the September low of $0.149, set on September 16. Below it there would be room down to the lower end of our 2026 range at $0.152.

The dates that decide it: the US jobs report on October 2, consumer prices on October 14 and the Fed’s rate decision on October 28 – this time without updated projections. The PCE deflator and the ECB’s rate decision follow on October 29.

ASI price prediction 2026 to 2033: the scenarios

Short term (2026): sector beta without a floor of its own

In the short term, FET trades mainly as a leveraged play on crypto-AI sentiment. Any revival of the AI narrative – for instance through breakthroughs in autonomous agents – should move FET disproportionately, while persistent risk aversion cannot rule out fresh lows. Progress on the ASI chain and real agent deployments would be the most important project-specific signals.

Medium term (2027–2028): from vision to measurable revenue

In the base case, the Alliance consolidates its product lines, wins paying users for agent services and compute, and FET recovers meaningfully from its lows in line with the sector. In the bullish case, the agent economy becomes real: autonomous AI agents that book and pay for services need exactly the infrastructure Fetch.ai has been building for years – in which case FET could become one of the leading beneficiaries of a new AI-crypto wave. The condition is that the Alliance finally turns integration promises into products with traction.

Long term (through 2033): the anti-monopoly bet on AI

The ASI Alliance's long-term thesis is framed in civilisational terms: if advanced AI systems emerge, the argument goes, the world needs an open, token-based counterweight to the closed labs. If even a diluted version of that thesis holds – say, a meaningful market for decentralised AI services and agent payments – FET, as the segment's most liquid token, would be structurally well placed. If decentralised AI instead stays commercially marginal, the conglomerate lacks a sustaining business core.

Risks to the ASI forecast

First, Ocean Protocol's exit exposed the governance fragility of the merger – further fallouts would durably damage trust. Second, centralised AI providers deliver agent functionality faster, cheaper and better integrated. Third, valuation is driven far more by narrative than by revenue, which means double the downside in AI correction phases. Fourth, development effort is spread across many sub-projects, which structurally weakens the Alliance's focus and time to market.
