Rabby Wallet Reviews
Security-focused EVM wallet from the team behind DeBank with transaction simulation: strong for DeFi, no Bitcoin.
Rabby Wallet Rating
Our Opinion
Rabby is the best choice for anyone who regularly uses DeFi applications on Ethereum and the EVM networks. On the integrated networks, the simulation before every transaction shows in plain terms what it does to your balance, and with approvals and unknown contracts that is real protection. Automatic network switching makes everyday use across several layer-2 networks much smoother.
The scope is clear: Rabby is an EVM-only wallet. If you want to hold Bitcoin, Solana or Tron, you need a second wallet for them.
For swaps and bridges Rabby states its fee clearly: 0.25%, zero on the listed stablecoin and ETH pairs on the same chain. Switching from MetaMask, you bring your wallet over in a few steps and get far more security information before every transaction on the integrated networks; our MetaMask review puts the comparison in context.
Pros & Cons
- Simulation before signing on the integrated networks
- Automatic network switching, 80+ EVM networks native
- 0.25% swap fee, 0% on the listed stablecoin and ETH pairs
- 11 hardware wallets in the extension, 4 in the mobile app
- Browser extension open source, audited by SlowMist and Least Authority in 2025
- EVM only: no Bitcoin, Solana or Tron
- Mobile app rated 3.6 on the App Store
- As with any self-custody wallet, no deposit protection: custody is your responsibility
Costs & Discounts
Rabby is free, with no account and no subscription. For every transaction you pay the network's gas fee. For swaps and bridges in the app, Rabby states its fee in the help center, and it is already included in the quote shown.
| Action | Cost at Rabby |
|---|---|
| Download and use the wallet | free, no account |
| Send crypto | network gas fee |
| Swap in the app | 0.25% Rabby fee, included in the quote, plus gas |
| Swaps between the listed stablecoins or between ETH and the listed ETH DeFi tokens on the same chain | 0% Rabby fee (as of 21 July 2026), gas still applies |
| Bridge between networks | 0.25% Rabby fee, included in the quote, plus gas and bridge fees |
How to save: on a 1,000 euro swap, 2.50 euros go to Rabby, plus gas. Between listed stablecoins such as USDT and USDC on the same chain the Rabby fee disappears entirely. Because Rabby approves only the amount needed, you also save revoking later and the gas that costs. Larger purchases with euros go through an exchange from our exchange comparison.
Tax: in many countries a swap is a disposal and can be taxable. A tool from our crypto tax software comparison keeps the records.
More security: for larger holdings, connect Rabby to a device from our hardware wallet comparison. How Rabby compares with the best-known EVM wallet is covered in our MetaMask review, more wallets in our software wallet comparison.
As of 27 October 2026 according to the Rabby help center: supported networks and tokens (11 June 2026), Rabby Swap, 0% swap fee pairs (21 July 2026), supported hardware wallets, plus the source code on GitHub.
User Experiences
AI AnalysisOur AI collects and analyzes user reviews of Rabby Wallet from the web and summarizes the key findings.
Rabby is above all a browser extension for Chrome, Brave and Edge, with desktop apps for macOS and Windows and mobile apps for iOS and Android. The biggest convenience: on the integrated networks Rabby switches to the network a dApp needs by itself, so you never add or switch networks by hand. Coming from MetaMask, you bring your existing wallet over in a few steps via seed phrase, private key or hardware wallet; your tokens, NFTs and staking positions stay unaffected. In the German App Store the mobile app is rated 3.6 out of 5 (229 ratings), on Google Play 4.7 (7,670 reviews, 500,000+ downloads), retrieved on 27 October 2026. As of October 2026.
Provider details (fees, licences, pros and cons) editorially reviewed: November 2026. Editorial assessment based on publicly documented provider information and independent industry sources. Self-custody means that losing your recovery phrase results in permanent loss of funds. This comparison is not investment advice. All information without guarantee.
