Educational forecast, not financial advice

Forecasts are projections based on historical patterns and editorial assumptions. Crypto markets are volatile and outcomes can differ significantly from these scenarios.

How we calculate this

Data sources

For our crypto forecasts we combine several data points:

  • Current price & historical data: live market data and daily history from CoinMarketCap.
  • Market sentiment: the Fear & Greed Index from alternative.me as an indicator of market mood.
  • Market size: total crypto market capitalisation, to put any move in context.

How we calculate the minimum, average and maximum prices

For each year our analysis team defines three scenarios – a conservative one (minimum), an expected one (average) and an optimistic one (maximum). We express these scenarios as a percentage change against the previous year.

The starting point is the price on the first trading day of the current year (taken from CoinMarketCap's historical data). We apply the annual scenarios to that starting value cumulatively: each new yearly figure builds on the previous year's value, multiplied by the respective percentage change of the scenario.

Example: starting price $40,000, average scenario for year 1 = +20%, year 2 = +15% → average price year 1 = $48,000, year 2 = $55,200.

What shapes the scenarios

When setting the annual scenarios we take into account, among other things:

  • Macroeconomic trends (interest rate policy, inflation, US dollar strength)
  • Coin-specific factors (halvings, roadmap, adoption, tokenomics)
  • Market cycle phase (accumulation, bull run, correction, bear market)
  • Regulatory developments in the key markets (US, EU, Asia)
  • Institutional adoption (ETFs, treasuries, corporate holdings)

Important note

This forecast is a scenario model, not investment advice. Crypto markets are highly volatile. Black swan events (hacks, regulatory intervention, market crashes) can make reality diverge sharply from any scenario. Never base investment decisions on forecasts alone – diversify, and only invest what you can afford to lose.

How we weight our methods for Enzyme

Not every analytical tool suits every crypto asset. This overview shows what we actually rely on for Enzyme – and what we deliberately leave out.

MethodWeightWhy
Assets under management (AUM)highThe protocol’s fee base and therefore the most direct value driver for MLN – more informative than any chart level.
Fee burn versus new issuancehighThe supply mechanism decides whether MLN turns net deflationary or dilutive. We check this balance on an ongoing basis.
News flow on institutional mandatesmediumDeals such as CV5 Capital or the Canton port (targeted Q3 2026) change the medium-term thesis, not the daily price.
Exchange statusmediumSince the Binance delisting on May 27, 2026, liquidity depends on the remaining venues, and any further withdrawal hits it directly.
Support and resistancemediumIn August 2026, the zone around $1.00 was widely watched and decided the short-term picture.
Fibonacci retracementslowAt low trading volume, retracement levels are easily broken through and not very reliable.
Cycle and halving analysisnot applicableMLN has no halving, and for years its price has followed protocol usage rather than the broader market’s four-year pattern.
ETF inflows and outflowsnot applicableNo spot ETF exists for MLN. Institutions use Enzyme as software – that channel does not generate ETF-style token inflows.

We rate Enzyme like an infrastructure company with a token attached: what matters is assets under management and the burn balance. That is why our scenarios react more strongly to mandate news than to the usual market cycles.

Bullish Factors vs. Bearish Factors

What could drive the price up or down

Bullish Factors

  • Usage-linked tokenomics

Protocol fees on assets under management flow into MLN buybacks and burns. As the assets in the vaults grow, the mechanism can exceed annual new issuance.

  • Credible institutionalisation

With the Canton port (targeted Q3 2026), the Chainlink CRE integration and mandates such as CV5 Capital, Enzyme is addressing regulated fund providers - a real, growing market.

  • Nine years of operating history

Live since 2017 without a total protocol loss - in asset management, proven reliability is itself the selling point.

Bearish Factors

  • Delisting pressure

OKX delisted MLN in October 2025, and Binance ended spot trading on May 27, 2026, about a month after April's monitoring tag. Each withdrawal shrinks already thin liquidity.

  • Value creation bypassing the token

Institutional clients need Enzyme's software, not necessarily the token. The more regulated the business, the less clear the pass-through to MLN.

  • Small market cap, low visibility

MLN is too small for institutional portfolios and too old for narrative rotations - the token falls through both demand filters.

Enzyme in October 2026: institutional progress, weak token

MLN is trading around $1.44, well below previous cycle highs. Enzyme is the longest-running on-chain asset management protocol: launched as Melon in 2017, renamed in 2021, it lets funds operate as transparent smart-contract vaults – with programmable rules instead of custodian trust. Recently the focus has shifted clearly toward regulated institutions: the Onyx and Myso product lines are designed to represent tokenised funds, a port to the institutional Canton Network is targeted for the third quarter of 2026, and fund provider CV5 Capital already uses Enzyme as core infrastructure.

The gap between product and token

Against that stands an uncomfortable market reality: OKX delisted MLN in October 2025, and Binance placed the token on a monitoring tag in April 2026 – the pre-warning status ahead of delistings. The gap between credible B2B progress and shrinking exchange presence is the central tension in this forecast: Enzyme can succeed as software without MLN automatically benefiting.

The crypto market right now

Total value and sentiment of the market from our own charts. While the page is open, the values refresh at the pace of their source.

What actually moves the Enzyme price

MLN’s tokenomics are unusually directly tied to usage: the protocol charges fees on assets under management, settled in MLN and used for buybacks and burns, while a capped annual issuance funds further development. If assets under management rise, the burn can exceed issuance – if it falls, the token dilutes. That makes the decisive price variable not crypto sentiment, but the assets sitting in the vaults.

The metrics we watch for Enzyme

  • Assets under management (AUM): the base for all protocol fees, and therefore the token’s value driver.
  • Burn versus new issuance: the mechanism only turns deflationary once fee burns exceed annual issuance.
  • Institutional deals: mandates such as CV5 Capital and the Canton port show whether the B2B strategy is working.
  • Exchange status: Binance ended spot trading in MLN on May 27, 2026, about a month after April's monitoring tag; since then the price depends on the remaining venues.

Why good software doesn’t automatically carry the token

Enzyme’s institutional clients need the infrastructure – not necessarily the freely traded token. The more the business shifts into regulated, private environments like Canton, the more Enzyme resembles a software vendor whose value creation can bypass the capital markets. The fee-burn mechanism is the counterargument – but it only becomes noticeable at significantly higher assets under management.

Where this forecast could fail

Our scenarios assume that AUM growth feeds through to the token and that MLN remains tradable on major exchanges. A Binance delisting would hit liquidity hard; conversely, faster-than-expected Canton traction could push our ranges above the upper bound.

Enzyme price prediction for October 2026: what the month can deliver

Enzyme enters October around $1.52. September was the quietest month in a long while: from $1.53 to $1.54, a gain of 0.6 percent, within a narrow band between $1.50 and $1.55. After the jumps of the summer, that is consolidation rather than a decision on direction. The range the month is most likely to play out in sits between the September low of $1.50 and the September high of $1.55.

What opens the month to the upside: a break above $1.55 confirmed by volume. Protocol fees on assets under management flow into MLN buybacks and burns – if vault assets grow, the mechanism bites, and only then does the burn exceed annual new issuance. With nine years of operating history and no protocol write-off, demonstrated reliability is itself the selling point.

What tips it over: a break of the September low of $1.50. Institutional clients need Enzyme’s software, not necessarily the token – the more regulated the business, the less clear the claim passed through to MLN. Add the delisting pressure: OKX removed MLN from trading in October 2025, and Binance applied the monitoring tag in April 2026. In a market this thin, a narrow range holds only until someone sells in size.

The dates that decide it: the US jobs report on October 2, consumer prices on October 14 and the Fed’s rate decision on October 28 – this time without updated projections. The PCE deflator and the ECB’s rate decision follow on October 29. Coin-specific, what counts most is whether the port to the institutional Canton Network, targeted for the third quarter of 2026, is finally delivered – that window has closed.

Enzyme price prediction 2026 to 2033: the scenarios

Short term (2026): the monitoring tag as a sword of Damocles

In the current environment, a range of roughly $0.90 to $2.00 is realistic for MLN. The zone around $1.00 is the psychologically and technically decisive support; a Binance delisting would be the most likely trigger for a break lower, while removal of the monitoring tag is the nearest-term relief signal.

Medium term (2027–2028): Canton and Onyx have to deliver

In the base case, MLN stabilises at $1.50 to $3.00, supported by growing assets under management and the burn mechanism. The best-case scenario rests on institutionalisation: if the Canton port wins paying mandates from the third quarter of 2026 and further deals follow the CV5 Capital pattern, prices above $4 are justifiable – at that point the market would for the first time price Enzyme as infrastructure rather than a DeFi bet.

Long term (through 2033): the tokenised-fund thesis

Over the long run, MLN is a bet that fund administration migrates onto public and semi-public chains – and that the first mover, with a nine-year track record, sets the standards along the way. The overall market for tokenised assets is growing; whether a freely traded token is where that value creation lands remains the core open question.

Risks to the Enzyme forecast

First, exchange status: after the OKX delisting in 2025, a Binance withdrawal would be a severe liquidity blow. Second, the token’s small size, which limits institutional purchases. Third, competition from in-house builds by large custodians and fintechs. Fourth, the risk that B2B value creation permanently bypasses the token.
